A woman has been charged with the murder of her four-year-old boy after he died of stab wounds.
Keziah Macharia, 41, will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court today charged with the murder of her son, Kobi Dooley-Macharia.
An investigation was launched after police were called to an address in Montague Road, Hackney, at approximately 10.50pm on Wednesday.
Kobi was found with knife injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment but subsequently died.
A special post-mortem is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 28 December.
