Primark fans loving new jacket collection with ‘strong contenders’ for spring – including cropped trenches and bombers
WITH Spring officially starting tomorrow, it’s time to start dusting off our tees and tanks and retiring our hoodies and sweatshirts.
But it’s also time to invest in transitional jackets that will see us through spring chills and summer nights.
Enter, Primark’s new jacket collection that shoppers have said contains “strong contenders for spring”.
Fashion bosses dubbed the looks “transitional”, meaning they will carry you through the next two seasons at minimum.
And thanks to their classic designs, you can wear them on repeat.
MAC DADDY
The first jacket was the new Short Double-Breasted Mac in khaki, with the model removing the belt for a looser look.

Primark bosses described the £32 jacket as “a classic coat reimagined in a shorter length”.
“This short double-breasted mac is a timeless piece that would elevate any wardrobe,” they added.
“Rendered in a classic khaki green colourway, this stunning coat features notched lapels, epaulettes, long sleeves, double-breasted button fastenings and a belted waist.
“Slash pockets rest at either side and a storm shield can be found at the back.
“It’s perfect for transitional weather, so team with a lightweight knit, jeans and knee-high boots.”
COMBAT SEASON
The second jacket was Primark’s new £24 Cargo Bomber Jacket in stone, which will add a combat edge to your spring-to-summer looks.
“Don’t let your carefully curated outfit fall at the last hurdle,” Primark bosses said.
“Make sure you always have a jacket that lives up to your style standards with this bomber jacket from our latest Paula Echevarría drop.
“It features a knitted collar, long sleeves and ribbed hems to create the relaxed silhouette, but we’re particularly obsessed with the various flap pockets that give it a cargo feel.
“Coming in a cool stone colourway, it's complete with concealed popper fastening to maintain its sleek appearance.
“The perfect layer for those mild months, this is one jacket you’ll love wearing on repeat.”
PLEATHER PRINCESS
The third jacket was the Faux Leather Bomber Jacket in a sage green hue.
The longline number will set you back £28 and offers a relaxed silhouette.
