Paris Fury reveals how she reacted when Tyson’s eye was ‘hanging open’ and admits his fights are making her grey at 34
PARIS Fury has revealed the nerve wracking moment she found out Tyson’s eye was “hanging open” following a freak accident at training.
The Gypsy King suffered a horror injury in sparring that left him needing over ten stitches above his right eye in February.
The accident left him with no choice but to withdraw from the £100 million heavyweight showdown with Oleksandr Usyk just two weeks before the bout.
Paris, 34, has since revealed how she sprung into action after hearing about the freak accident while at home in Morecambe, Lancs.
Professional boxer Tyson, 35, was over 4,000 miles away in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
“I was at home and it was getting to about 12 o’clock and I realised I hadn't heard from Tyson that morning,” she recalled on IFL TV Boxing.

“I called him and said, ‘what you doing?’ and got sent back a big picture of a cut - and he said, ‘it’s all f*****d’.
“He said, ‘it’s all off, I’ve got a cut, don’t say anything’.
“I called him a couple of hours later and called his brothers.”
On those calls, Paris revealed she was urging Tyson and his family to “get the right plastic surgeons in” to fix the gash above his eye.
“I was grabbing hold of his brothers and saying, ‘he ain’t fighting, obviously, don’t let him say that’,” she added.
“He wanted to fight but you can’t fight when your eye is hanging open.”
Tyson flew home to their £1.7 million mansion the following day and went with Paris to see a surgeon here in the UK.
In her interview with IFL TV Boxing, Paris went on to add that her husband’s boxing antics are turning her grey in her thirties.
“Tyson won’t be, it’s bald,” she teased.
The pair have been married for nearly 16 years, having met in 2006 and getting married in 2008.
Since their wedding, they have welcomed seven children, with Paris giving birth to their youngest in September last year.
Their children are Venezuela, 14, Prince John James, 11, Prince Tyson II, seven, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis Amaziah, five, Athena, two and baby Rico, seven months.
Tyson’s undisputed boxing fight with Usyk has been rescheduled for May 18 in Riyadh.
