Fury as police order shut down of right-wing conference during Nigel Farage’s speech
COPS today ordered the shut down of a right-wing conference - while Nigel Farage was speaking to the crowd.
The Brexit supremo was addressing the National Conservative gathering when police for the Brussels district notified the organisers of a ban from the local mayor.
A police spokesman said they were taking “all necessary operational measures to prevent a public disturbance”.
The cops showed up at the NatCon event around midday.
It's understood the Brussels Mayor ordered the event to be stopped - saying organisers have 15 minutes to make attendees leave.
The Mirror reported the leader ordered up the conference be wrapped up as “the far right is not welcome”.

Videos then showed cops inside the venue - while Farage was on stage.
He has now slammed the “absolutely monstrous” attempts to cancel the conference.
Sky News reported he told the crowd: “I understand the police are very keen to shut this down.
"Well, in that case they can do it while I’m still on stage."
Farage later told The Sun: “I am totally convinced that Brexit was the right thing to do, because this is how EU critical people are treated.
“It tells you why it was the wrong organisation to be part of.”
Delivering a message to the local mayor who ordered the ban, Mr Farage said: “What an absolutely monstrous, anti-democratic man you are.”
Former Home Secretary Suella Braverman was also in attendance.
The "NatCon" organisers had been scrambling for a venue to host their event since Friday evening, when the reception room they initially booked pulled the plug under political pressure.
The event was moved to a hotel in the city's European quarter but that too changed its mind on Monday night, fearing disruption from the gathering.
