  • Welcome to Champions League Tuesday

As the round of 16 gets started this evening, two of the most fancied teams to win this year’s Champions League play.

RB Leipzig entertain Real Madrid in Germany, with the Spaniards coming into the game off the back of a comprehensive 4-0 win in La Liga against Girona.

Tonight’s hosts drew 2-2 with Augsburg in the Bundesliga and remain fifth in the table as they look cause an upset in the Champions League.

Meanwhile in tonight’s other tie, FC Copenhagen welcome defending champions Man City to Denmark.

The Danish side managed to qualify for the knockout phase on the final matchday in the group as they edged out Galatasaray to secure second spot.

Man City have hit form at the right time of the season as they welcomed back both Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland from injury.

De Bruyne had been out since the injury he picked up in last year’s final but has hit the ground running since his return.

It remains a tall task for Copenhagen to get a result in this game, with Pep Guardiola’s side much-fancied to progress to the quarter finals with ease.

Both Real Madrid and Man City topped their groups with 100% records and will be looking to continue their winning streaks in this year’s competition.
