A PLACE in the Sun fans have ripped into the 'hugely disappointing' spin-off series - dubbing the new episodes 'pointless c**p'.
The Channel 4 property show is celebrating 23 years on air with a massive 20 series now produced.
A Place in the Sun, What Happened Next aired on screens today - but it seems viewers were not impressed.
In the spin-off, the hosts of the show catch up with previous buyers to see how they've been doing since their appearance.
Taking to X/Twitter many fans slammed the show, calling it 'hugely disappointing' and 'pointless c**p'.
One wrote: What a pointless piece of c**p."

A second added: "This revisited A Place in the Sun is a huge disappointment."
A third complained: "I was really looking forward to these revisit programmes but they’re actually boring and a yawn fest!!"
A fourth wrote: "They could fit another 4 couples in if they cut the crap!"
A fifth blasted: "This show is so dead."
It comes after we shared a first look at A Place in the Sun’s eye-popping new intro as the hosts posed in skimpy swimwear.
Ben Hillman, who joined the series in 2016, previously revealed why fans will never see all hosts on screen together.
