Cops have not confirmed the reporters death but said they responded to an emergency call at 11:57pm on Sunday.

Local police added that a man was found with "obvious signs of trauma", and later died in hospital.

Cops have called the incident a homicide but are yet to identity any suspects.

Jones confirmed White's identity in a heartbreaking X post where the host said his reporter was "brutally murdered" and blamed local politicians for his death.

The InfoWars boss said: "We are deeply saddened to inform you that InfoWars Reporter Jamie White was brutally murdered around midnight Sunday night due, in part, to the policies of the Soros Austin, TX D.A. Jose Garza."

Jones also vowed to seek "justice" for his colleagues death.

He added: "We pledge that Jamie's tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice.

"Jamie's important work will be carried on through InfoWars, our, readers, and out cherished listeners."

Jones continued his tribute to White with a fiery rant and bizarre claims about the local Democratic Party.

He said: "I lay all of this squarely at the feet of Soros and of the sort of crime syndicate of the Democratic Party.

"They are the ones that administratively cut the police, prosecuted the police, and even cases that are hundred percent clear to be lawful, legal activities."
