I bought a sectional for my living room from Temu – it was a massive fail, people say it must make my house feel bigger
A WOMAN has shared the unfortunate results of shopping for furniture on Temu.
She was excited after purchasing a sectional on the online marketplace, only to discover it wasn't quite what she had bargained for.
The content was posted by Manny (@emanny1216) and it quickly went viral.
The video was titled: "When you buy a living room set online for Black Friday on Temu."
It showed a woman sitting on the aforementioned Temu furniture set looking dejected.
The sofa and footrest were patterned with a graphic black and white pattern, and there were matching cushions.
The only problem was that everything was shrunken, around a third of the size of regular furniture.
Commenters were quick to make light of the unfortunate situation.
Many poked gentle fun at the woman's mistake, making puns about the comical size of the living room set.
"Makes the house feel bigger though right?" said one popular comment, although the author went on to compliment the choice, saying "It does have a nice print though."
"Soak it inside water, it would swell up," suggested another jokester.
"Living the dream in Barbie’s dream house," wrote one viewer.
"Buying furniture on Temu is wild," said another.
