A WOMAN has revealed that she gave her daughter’s bedroom an epic upgrade whilst on a budget.

Savvy mum Jolene Driver explained that she used freebies and a simple paint trick to save cash on her little one's bedroom’s overhaul.

Thrilled with the room’s new look, Jolene took ton social media to alert other DIY fans.

Posting on DIY On A Budget Official, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Joelene shared snaps of the bedroom’s transformation, as she said: “Redecorated my daughter’s room on a very small budget.”

Jolene revealed that her daughter’s bed and the pink vinyl was in fact free, as she added: “Bed was free from someone, glittery vinyl used on the windowsill and the letters on the box (was free from someone).”

She then shared how to save cash on paint, as she confirmed: “I hand painted the hearts on the wall using tester paint pots. 

“I also used the paint tester pots to give some new life to the box with my daughter's name on it that I made for her when I was pregnant nearly six years ago.”

As well as this, the DIY enthusiast continued: “Shelves and teddy hanging storage were also gifted to me a while back but just got put away and never used.”

What was once very plain and disorganised, has now been given the ultimate re-fresh, without breaking the bank.

Clearly proud of her DIY skills, Jolene beamed: “Just a single mum trying to do her best for her daughter.”
