David Beckham makes dig at Victoria for ‘working class’ day at the Ritz – but fans distracted as they spot detail in pic
DAVID Beckham took a cheeky pop at his wife Victoria’s ‘working class’ roots on a very posh day out.
The former footballer, 48, headed to the Ritz with the fashion designer, 49, with her parents to see in the New Year – and fans couldn’t help but notice a very amusing detail.
Victoria had given her handbag it’s very own chair, which took centre stage in the snap.
David captioned the amusing image: “Just a nice casual New Year’s Eve lunch at The Ritz ❤@victoriabeckham Very working class 😂 My mother & father in law left in there Roll’s.”
He was referring to a moment in his recent documentary when he called out his wife for not being truthful about her ‘working class’ childhood.
Fans rushed to comment on the picture, with one person commenting: “I love there’s a chair for @victoriabeckham bag… the only way! Very working class beb 😂.”

A second said: “I love that her bag has it's own chair 😂❤.”
While another remarked: “Even the handbag gets a seat at the table.”
David had fans in hysterics this year when he interrupted Victoria as she declared she grew up working class.
Before she could continue David stuck his head in the room and told her to "be honest".
He asked the singer turned fashion designer: "What car did your dad drive you to school in?"
Victoria told Becks it "wasn't a simple answer" as he continued to push her to name the car.
Eventually she revealed her dad owned a Rolls Royce in the 80s, which satisfied Becks as he then left the room.
