‘Grab them while you can’ shoppers say as they rush to buy bargain Squishmallows & bag £198 worth for less than a fiver
THEY'RE the lovable plush toys that have garnered a legion of fans thanks to their huge range of colours, sizes and adorable designs.
But at £9 a pop, Squishmallows can work out to be fairly pricey, especially if you're hoping to start quite the impressive collection.
Well, according to a savvy shopper named Phil, it turns out that there's a super simple way you can nab yourself the marshmallow-like texture toys for a total bargain...you just need to get yourself to your local Asda.
That's because he managed to nab a whole range worth a whopping £198 for just £5, meaning he saved himself an impressive £193.
Rushing online to money-saving Facebook group Yellow sticker shopping tips, tricks and hauls, he posted a snap of his 34-piece strong collection and penned: "£198 of Squishmallows reduced in Asda.
"Paid less than a fiver in hard cash after a couple of Asda rewards doubled up."

And at that price, it's little surprise the post was soon flooded with comments, with eager collectors all keen to get their hands on the mega discounted plush toys.
"Argh! I literally spent £8 on one of these today in Tescos for a friend who loves them!" wrote one.
"Are they actually reduced in Asda or was the reduction just because of your rewards?"
Phil noted how the £9 were all reduced, with other shoppers noting how they saw them for as cheap as just 90p.
A second urged: "Get them while you can that’s 100% a mistake!"
A third congratulated: "Amazing!"
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "Omg my little girl will love them - great find, get em while you can at that price!"
And Phil isn't the only person to rave about the mega discounted plush toys in recent days.
Another shopper took to popular Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and showed off the six toys she managed to nab.
"Thank you to the people posting about the 90p Squishmallows at Asda. No price on the shelf but these all scanned at that price," she wrote.
She was quickly praised by others for sharing the deal, with one writing: "I'll have to go and get some!!"
Another commented: "Great find! Lucky you!"
