Brighton target wonderkid - EXCLUSIVE
Brighton have moved ahead of Manchester United and Arsenal as well as a raft of other suitors for Olympiacos wonderkid Babis Kostoulas.
SunSport's Kostas Lianos can reveal Wednesday will be "crucial" regarding Kostoulas' future and the Seagulls' hopes of landing him.
Olympiacos won't sell on the cheap and will insist on a major resale clause for the versatile striker, who has a contract until 2030.
Negotiations have reached a fee of €40million (£34m), which Fabian Hurzeler's side are currently not willing to meet despite their willingness to pay good money for the 18-year-old.
SunSport, though, understand the Greece Under-21 international's fee could climb even higher to €50-55m (£42-46m).
Chelsea eye Branthwaite
Chelsea are "weighing up" a move for Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite this summer.
That is according to The Mail, who claim the Blues are willing to improve their defence with Branthwaite.
However, the Toffees' manager David Moyes is not keen on letting the centre-back go under any circumstances.
With James Tarkowski recovering from hamstring surgery, Moyes would be thin on options at the back if the England international left.
Amorim on Fernandes interest
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim believes Bruno Fernandes wants to stay at Old Trafford despite a £100million offer from Saudi Arabia.
Fernandes’ agent Miguel Pinho held talks with Al-Hilal at a Riyadh hotel on Thursday over a £700,000-a-week package.
The playmaker played the first-half of United’s 3-1 post-season friendly win over Hong Kong.
And when asked if it was the captain's final game for the Red Devils, Amorim said:
I don’t think so. I don’t know for sure, nobody knows, but I don’t think so.
He is seeing us taking some actions to change all the things and I think that is all that he wants to stay.
He’s saying ‘no’ to a lot of things, but it shows that he wants to win.
He’s really young, he’s really good. He needs to be in the best league in the world.
