Fool Me Once creator teases new series after Michelle Keegan thriller takes Netflix by storm
FOOL Me Once creator Harlan Coben has teased his next Netflix series following the success of the hit thriller.
Since the show starring Michelle Keegan as widow Maya Stern was released on January 1, it has impressively climbed the streaming charts and has remained the number one Top TV programme in the UK.
The eight-part series, riddled with numerous nail-biting plot twists, also stars award-winning actress Joanna Lumley as Judith Burkett, Adeel Akhtar as DS Sami Kierce and Richard Armitage as Joe Burkett.
The series followed Maya, a soccer mom/tarnished war hero, mourning the loss of her late husband, Joe.
But as Maya tries to return to normal, things get strange when she sets up a nanny cam to watch over her young daughter and sees Joe reappearing in the footage.
Fool Me Once was the seventh adaptation of Harlan's work to be aired on Netflix along with The Stranger and Stay Close.

Speaking to the Radio Times about his plans, Harlan explained: "We still have a few [books] left!
"We're doing one right now in Poland based on my book, Just One Look - we're filming, and Netflix Poland is working on it. [We're] also working on one in South America, believe it or not.
"There's no doubt that if Netflix wants us back, which hopefully, everyone watching will make this happen.
“I'll be working with Nicola [Shindler], Richard [Fee] and Danny [Brocklehurst] on at least another one or two. We want to keep this going, we love this kind of yearly thing if we can.
"We skipped last year, but we'd love to try doing it where we have that New Year's Day release for everybody, they can watch us hungover, and we can join them in the new year.
“This team has just been a dream to work with.
"People always ask me why I set so many here in the UK when the books are US-based, and it's because that team has been such a delight to work with - we started eight years ago [with] The Five for Sky.
“As long as Netflix wants us, which I think they do, I'd love to keep working with them."
Fans of the show recently took to social media after they spotted major ‘plot holes’ in the latest psychological thriller.
One scene that puzzled viewers was when Maya randomly left a helicopter and her student - who was training to fly the plane - in the middle of the woods.
Other show fans also revealed that they were left puzzled by Maya's fellow military officer and friend, Shane, after he displayed some shady behaviour.
