Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe’s staggering nine-figure fortune revealed 14 years after film which made him

HARRY Potter leading man Daniel Radcliffe has banked almost £100m - even though he hasn’t played the wizard in a movie for 14 years.

Last year alone the actor, 35, earned over £6.6m for his company Gilmore Jacobs Ltd, which is still co-run by his parents Marcia and Alan Radcliffe.

The last Harry Potter film was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, and despite getting a string of subsequent stage and screen parts, nothing eclipsed his best known role.

An insider said: “Even devoted fans of Daniel, of which there are many, will be shocked by the fortunes he’s racked up since he left the famous franchise behind and started a new chapter.

“But it seems his money isn’t just based on how much he’s been paid for his acting work, it’s also down to shrewd investments he’s made along the way which means he has a steady income, whatever happens.”

After appearing in eight Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011, Daniel is said to have earned a total of £75m, but he’s increased that sum by almost 30 per cent.

His fortune is made up of investments and cash totalling £96.3m - but that only covers the period up to March 2024, and he’s been making around half a million pounds a month, on average.

After Harry Potter, Daniel went on to star in The Woman in Black, Kill Your Darlings and Victor Frankenstein and his last film was The Lost City in 2022.

In April 2023 he became a father with US actress Erin Darke, after 11 years together.

The actor is set to return to the silver screen later this year in the heist flick, Now You See Me 3.
