Woman reveals the buy that had her ‘aging hair’ growing faster in 30 days, saying it hasn’t looked this good in 20 years
AN essential oil bought for a skin infection miraculously transformed one woman’s aging locks in just 30 days.
Since using the affordable product, she said her hair has grown and is frizz-free.
She took to Reddit’s No Poo forum in response to a user raving about how tea tree oil has improved the condition of their tresses.

Posting under the handle No_Language_4649, the woman revealed she had also recently begun using the essential oil.
“I’ve been applying tea tree oil to my scalp and brushing it through my hair every day after washing and then letting it air dry for the past 30 days,” she said.
The beauty enthusiast revealed she began to use the oil after a family trip to a waterpark left her with ringworm.
“I started applying tea tree oil as a preventative measure as I was terrified of the fungal infection spreading to my scalp,” she said.
“I can’t say much for sure how effective this has been because there is no way to say for sure, but it hasn’t spread to my scalp, so I just keep doing it.
“After a month of this routine, I have noticed that my hair is much healthier looking and is growing faster.
“I also haven’t been losing as much hair as before.”
The Redditor revealed tea tree oil is the only product she’s been using on her hair in recent weeks.
She has also avoided the use of heat tools.
“I blew out my hair today for the first time in a month and was absolutely shocked by how great it looked,” she said.
“I normally have very frizzy roots towards the top and front of my face, but they were perfectly smooth today and my hair was so shiny without being greasy.
“I do credit the tea tree oil to this, but also the minimal products and heat.”
The 42-year-old said she will continue to use tea tree oil as her “aging hair” hasn’t looked as good since her 20s.
“If anyone is wondering about how I apply, I put a 4oz bottle of tea tree oil in a spray bottle and fill the rest with water,” she said.
“Spray it at the roots and brush it through and let it air dry.
“I haven’t had any irritation, but have read that it can be very irritating for those with sensitive skin, so if you try this, maybe start out with a more diluted mixture.”
Many people up-voted the post and spoke about the known benefits of tea tree oil.
