And one mum has been slammed after sharing her child's name.

In a photo shared on social media the mum had decorated her baby's nursery.

The image showed a solid oak crib that had an adorable mobile attached top the ceiling.

The mum had gone all out on the decorations and even painted a collage for her baby on the walls.

One person decided to post it to the Facebook group, That Name is a Tragedeigh, where thousands of people share the bizarre baby names they have heard.

The name on the wall was 'Gnasher Vincent' and plenty of people were left baffled by the choice.

Not only were they confused about the baby being named after a tooth, they also claimed it was a 'nasty' choice.

One person wrote: "That name is gnasty."

I gave birth to two babies just months apart – but they AREN’T twins & had a combined birth weight of less than one tot

Another commented: "Asher is a perfectly lovely name and was right there..."

"Perfect name for the kid who won't stop biting people at daycare lol," penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "OOOF, poor kid."

"This group should be used to make these names illegal,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: "Good God that's ghorrible."

Elsewhere, a dance teacher revealed the worst name ever as parents are deciding to spell it with punctuation rather than letters.

Devin Dennis, a US dance teacher, has taken to Tiktok to rant about the parents’ choice of name and punctuation.

She shared the child’s name: La/a – with a forward slash, and Devin assumed it was pronounced Laia - but she couldn't be more wrong.

After calling the parents, she was soon made aware of her blunder as the dash was actually spelt out and not silent.

The name was actually pronounced Le Dasha.
