Lucy Letby strikes up grim friendship with fellow child killer behind bars – with pair ‘thick as thieves’
KILLER nurse Lucy Letby has spent time with fellow child murderer Sian Hedges behind bars.
Vile Letby, 34, and Hedges - jailed for life for the murder of her toddler son - are in jail and spend time together chatting and watching TV.
The grim pair are both held at privately-run Bronzefield Prison, Surrey and have individual cells with en suite shower, a desk, phone and telly.
A source said: “They watch TV a lot together, including stuff like The Traitors, and crime shows.
“They are on a really nice block, with individual cells with en-suite and TVs with more than 100 Freeview Channels plus radio.
“And neither seem to work full-time yet so they have plenty of spare time.

Hedges, 27, was sentenced to life last Friday for a campaign of cruelty that killed her 18-month-old son Alfie Phillips.
She and partner Jack Benham, 35 – both drug users - inflicted 70 injuries on Alfie.
His tragic death came after a night of “aggressive, violent discipline” in Benham’s caravan during lockdown in November 2020.
Her court case heard how she branded the toddler - who had traces of cocaine in his system when he died - a “little s***” in a text message before he was killed.
After they were arrested in Hernhill, Kent, Hedges claimed: “I haven’t done anything to him.”
But judge Mr Justice Cavanagh blasted the killers and told them: “Your first thoughts were for yourselves. You maintained your lies through police interviews and at trial.”
We told in November how Letby had been moved to Bronzefield – operated by Sodexo – from tough Low Newton jail, County Durham.
She is shadowed by prison officers when she moves around the prison, for her own protection.
Letby - the fourth woman to receive a whole-life order in Britain – was convicted last August of murdering seven babies and trying to kill six more in 2015 and 2016. She was sentenced to life without parole.
Her 10-month trial at Manchester Crown Court heard show carried out her crimes while working as a neonatal nurse at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
The jury failed to reach verdicts on six counts of attempted murder – but it was later announced she will face a retrial over the near death of a seventh tot.
The trial was shown scrawled notes in which Letby wrote “I am evil I did this” and “I killed them on purpose because I am not good enough.”
We revealed how Letby received more than £1.5 million in Legal Aid for her case, with the money spent on barristers and solicitors.
