I’m A Celebrity bring back iconic show moment for the first time in FIVE years
I’M A Celebrity bosses are bringing back the friends and family segment of the show after a five year break.
The last time it was seen on screen was in 2018, when ITV surprised Harry Redknapp with his wife Sandra.
Insiders revealed how five of the celebs would come face-to-face with their loved ones in an emotional show, which will be filmed on Thursday.
A source said: “It’s been a rollercoaster ride for the celebs and the producers wanted to give them a pick-me-up before the final.
“The last five celebs will all be treated to a surprise visit from a loved one. So for example, Marvin will meet up with Rochelle and Tony will see his wife Rachel.
“Like with Harry and Sandra, each of the celebs will head off into the jungle without knowing they’re about to bump into their other half or a friend.

“It’s going to be hugely emotional and will make great TV.
“After Covid the segment was binned off but this year when there are absolutely no restrictions they wanted to bring it back.
“There won’t be a dry eye in the house once they start filming.”
Football boss Harry broke down in tears after walking into a clearing in the jungle and finding his wife Sandra.
The emotional scenes played out back in December 2018.
A stunned Harry said to Sandra: “It’s like being in prison and you’ve given me a prison visit.
“I’m not going to let you go, you’re not going anywhere. You can come in my hammock.”
With tears pouring down his face, Harry added: “I can’t help this, it is not like me, I don’t normally cry, I’m pretty old school.”
