Beauty lover Kamille "Kam" Gregory (@kamillegregory) has dealt with tons of trial and error when it comes to proper application.

She offered helpful advice to ensure you always look spectacular in an Instagram Reel.

"Three makeup tips you shouldn't be skipping," the subtitle at the top of it read.

She called herself "makeup obsessed" in the video caption, and wrote that she always incorporates these steps in her routine and they never fail her.

Kam first talked about the importance of moisturizing your face before doing anything else.

"You need to be wearing moisturizer underneath your makeup," she said.

Even if your skin is already oily, she added that it "doesn't matter" because you need that barrier between the makeup and your skin.

"This is going to help your base products go on like butter," she said.

Next, the beauty fan explained the benefits of applying your bronzer and blush before your concealer.

"Whenever I watch any celebrity makeup artist or professional, they almost always apply these products right after foundation, and that's just because you're going to get a much more seamless blend," she said.

Kam demonstrated it "in real time" in the video because she wanted to "put her girls on" to the hack.

"It's a game-changer. Such a nice transition between concealer and blush," she added after blending the product.

Lastly, Kam recommended letting your liquid products dry before applying any powder on top.

"Products are still too wet, and it's going to cause your powder to go on unevenly and create patchiness. So, let your face dry for at least two minutes," she said.
