A BRITISH man has reportedly plunged to death from the sixth floor of a building in Palma de Mallorca, as tourists watched on in horror.
Local reports describe the dead man, 64, as a British national but it was initially unclear if he was resident of Majorca or a holidaymaker.
A witness told cops at 2pm the man fell from the skylight of a car park in the central Palma, near the well known Saratoga Hotel where tourists watched the horror plunge.
Emergency responders raced to the scene but were unable to save the man who plunged from the building.
Spanish homicide say nothing at this stage suggests the death is being treated as suspicious.
Majorcan cops have not yet released a statement.

The 15-year-old girl was stabilised at the scene before she was seen at Son Espases Hospital in capital city Palma.

Emma Ramsay, 19, from Hamilton, was holidaying with pals in famed party resort San Antonio.
The tragedy occurred at a seafront four star adult-only hotel called Hotel Vibra District.
Just days before on August 17, another British tourist plunged to his death after suffering a brutal 15ft fall in Palmanova, near Majorca.
