I’m plus-size & my friend’s petite – people say I shouldn’t wear clothes like hers but I don’t care, we’re twinning
BESTIE cousins with the same taste in clothing - but different body shapes - were not going to let haters dictate how they dress.
One might have been petite and the other plus size but they were sticking together - especially when it came to their style.
They were determined to keep winning at twinning.
"I don't think plus size girls should wear the same styles as petites," said Alexandria and Camille, the best friends - and first cousins -behind (@thesummernorth) over a dubbed voice.
Their matching multi-colored criss-cross front dresses showed off some of their midriffs.
With classical music playing in the background, both women seemed to be minding their own business between applying lip gloss and texting on the phone.
Their facial expressions quickly changed however as they both said over a dubbed male voice, "we do not care."
The pair was not going to let trolls win this wardrobe war.
They didn't even have to say what they thought about it - they just kept on dancing.
And that said it all.
They got down and even put up the peace sign.
"Says who sweetie?" was all they had to say in response to the original question.
And they weren't the only ones unamused by the hateful comment.
"Who said that? Both of them look beautiful," remarked one confused follower.
"Thank you," the ladies responded.
Another viewer was also a fan of their matching outfits: "That dress is so cute!"
The cousins even started their own fashion line called The Summer North which aims to be inclusive.
The name is derived from when the girls would travel up north to New York every year to spend time with their grandmother.
During their trips, they would bond over activities such as making outfits.
The brand now offers a wide range of sizes from petite to plus size - just like them.
Their clothing line, which features everything from dress sets to joggers, can mostly all be found for under $50.
